Qualifications

• Prior experience in a paralegal, legal assistant, or legal secretary role is preferred.
• Family law or litigation exposure is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and adaptability to new software.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients professionally and relay messages.
• Schedule appointments and assist with client communications.
• Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and third parties.
• Draft pleadings and other legal documents; file with courts.
• Maintain client files and assist with discovery and trial prep.
• Enter billable time and use firm software.
