Position Overview

The Remote Outpatient Psychiatrist provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management services through secure telemedicine technology.

The ideal candidate is a compassionate, clinically excellent psychiatrist who enjoys outpatient care, values patient relationships, and wants to practice without the administrative burden traditionally associated with private practice.

Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth
• Perform psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations
• Diagnose and treat adult psychiatric conditions
• Provide ongoing medication management
• Develop individualized evidence-based treatment plans
• Utilize appropriate psychopharmacologic interventions
• Monitor medication effectiveness, tolerability, and safety
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medications
• Establish longitudinal therapeutic relationships with patients
• Coordinate higher levels of care when clinically appropriate

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Experience providing outpatient psychiatric care
• Ability to independently evaluate and manage psychiatric patients
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to evidence-based psychiatric practice
