You will interpret clinical documentation, apply coding guidelines, and ensure accurate reimbursement while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards. Minimum two years of coding experience and RHIT/CPC/CCS certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years coding experience required.
• Two years of coding experience in outpatient/complex settings preferred.
• Certification in RHIT, CPC, or CCS is required.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze diagnostic and procedural information from patient records using established coding principles.
• Code complex outpatient cases to support accurate reimbursement and billing processes.
• Abstract and compile patient data for medical research and administrative decision-making.
• Maintain adherence to coding guidelines, third-party policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and quality benchmarks.
• Contribute to provider-patient continuity through accurate data management and reporting.
• Optimize reimbursement outcomes while preserving coding accuracy and integrity.
