Job summary

NonStop Consulting is recruiting an Occupational Therapist to deliver on‑site therapy for children and young people in a private school setting. The role emphasizes trauma‑informed practice, working within a small classroom in Norfolk, with ages 5–16.

It offers a permanent contract, induction, CPD, wellbeing support, and a 4‑day week paid as 5. Qualified HCPC registered professionals with 1–2 years of post‑qualifying experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Registered with HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
• Post‑qualifying experience of 1–2 years with children and young people.
• Experience with ADHD, neurodiversity and trauma‑informed practice.

NonStop Care is currently working with a leading independent education service in Norfolk. If you enjoy working with children with developmental trauma, neurodiversity, cognitive difficulties. This might be the role for you. This is a trauma informed practice, for someone who would like to work in a private school, in a small classroom. The age of children is 5-16 years old.

This is a permanent role that comes with benefits and long-term stable career opportunity and career progression and development.

Responsibilities

As a Occupational Therapist you will provide on-site occupational therapy to children and young people using trauma-informed practice. After passing probation period, you will transition into a 4 day working week -> work 4 days, get paid for 5. This was decided by the company to improve work life balance, and offer employees this benefit of still earning the same money as full-time but working 4 days.
