Job summary

Sigma Technologies, Ltd. West Memphis, Arkansas, United States is seeking an OSP Field Designer who will perform field data collection, route verification, and 2-D drafting to produce accurate OSP fiber designs for FTTx projects.

The role requires travel to Little Rock and surrounding areas (50-75%), remote work when not in the field, and a one-week in-person onboarding at Perrysburg, Ohio headquarters.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of outside plant fiber design or related OSP design experience.
• Experience with field data collection and field verification for OSP fiber design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar CAD tools and ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform outside plant field walkouts, surveys, and route verification to collect data.
• Draft and translate field conditions into accurate OSP design inputs.
• Execute OSP fiber designs (FTTx, aerial/underground, joint-use) for projects.
• Capture GPS data, photos, measurements, and notes for design deliverables.
• Collaborate with project teams and travel to Little Rock, AR and surrounding areas.
