Amberwell Health is seeking a remote RN to support the Surgical & Orthopedic Care Clinic in Atchison, KS. The role collaborates with the Supervisor of Orthopedics and Surgical Care to deliver clinical services via EMR, including documentation, testing, and care planning.

The position emphasizes patient assessment, education, referrals, and coordination with providers. Requires RN or BSN, Kansas license, CPR, and clinic experience with all ages.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required Experience: clinic experience with all ages.
• Preferred Experience: Two to three years.
• Minimum Required Education: Registered Nurse or Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Gathers pertinent health data through physical assessments and biological samples.
• Collects specimens utilizing proper technique for laboratory analysis and performs point of care testing.
• Documents assessments, interventions and test results in the medical record.
• Assists other health care professionals in performing exams, diagnostic procedures and minor surgical procedures.
• Promotes wellness by providing patient education materials and communicating provider instructions.
• Schedules and coordinates referrals to specialists and services ordered by the provider.
