Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer for a 100% remote role in the U.S. to design, develop, and optimize enterprise database solutions supporting high-volume transactional systems and financial applications.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of Oracle PL/SQL experience, strong SQL optimization skills, and a track record of performance tuning in large OCI/AWS/Azure environments. Collaboration with DBAs, developers, and analysts is essential.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of professional experience developing enterprise Oracle database solutions.
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL including packages, stored procedures, functions, cursors, triggers, collections, exceptions, and dynamic SQL.
• Advanced SQL development skills with complex joins, CTEs, analytical functions, and optimization.
• Experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c+ environments.
• Knowledge of indexing, partitioning, materialized views, and optimizer statistics.
• Experience with OLTP/OLAP workloads and performance tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
• Agile Scrum development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages and database objects across enterprise apps.
• Write highly optimized SQL for large transactional and analytical databases.
• Design scalable schemas, indexing strategies, and partitioning to improve performance.
• Build ETL processes and data movement components for enterprise data integration.
• Develop batch jobs and automated workflows for core operations.
• Analyze execution plans, identify bottlenecks, and tune performance.
• Collaborate with dev teams to optimize data access patterns and APIs.
• Implement security, auditing, and data encryption standards.
• Create migration scripts and release automation for OCI/AWS/Azure.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure data integrity.
• Support cloud modernization initiatives and production support rotations.
