Job summary

Peraton seeks an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) for the CAEIO program, supporting global consular IT. The role focuses on managing Oracle DB environments, performance tuning, and high-availability operations across RAC and Data Guard setups.

Remote role with DMV-based onsite needs; requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as an Oracle DBA or similar role.
• Hands-on with Oracle 19c/23c/26ai upgrades and migrations.
• Experience with RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and security features.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, administer, and maintain Oracle databases across environments.
• Manage backups, DR readiness, and 24x7 OLTP operations.
• Monitor performance, tune SQL/PLSQL, and troubleshoot incidents.
• Support upgrades, migrations, and GoldenGate data replication.
• Develop scripts, maintain docs, and ensure security/compliance.
