Job summary

DigitalOptometrics is seeking licensed Doctors of Optometry to provide remote eye exams across licensed states, with West Virginia licensure required.

As an Independent Contractor, you’ll examine patients remotely, discuss results via video, and issue eyeglass or contact lens prescriptions with support from an ophthalmic technician.

This role offers credentialing and training assistance, flexibility, and competitive compensation; multiple state licenses are a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed Doctor of Optometry in West Virginia.
• Optionally hold multiple state licenses.
• Ability to work independently as an Independent Contractor in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients in the state(s) where you are licensed through remote technology.
• Communicate with patients verbally and visually via specialized video conference technology.
• Analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses with ophthalmic technician support, from a remote location.
• Collaborate as an Independent Contractor with DigitalOptometrics; participate as a primary or supplemental source of income without leaving home.
• Participate in credentialing and training assistance provided by us.
• Offer competitive compensation.
• Possess this license; multiple state licenses are a plus.
