Eye MD Monterey is seeking an Optometrist in Monterey, California, to join a respected practice. The position offers a flexible schedule (32–40 hours/week) and a remote work option.

You will perform comprehensive eye exams, refractions, and prescribe lenses, collaborating with ophthalmologists in a supportive environment. The role requires a CA Optometry license and involves diagnosing and treating vision conditions, with opportunities to work with advanced lens options and stay at the forefront

Qualifications

• CA Optometry license is required.
• Proficient in performing refractions and comprehensive eye exams.
• Experience with EMR/Eyefinity software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and refractions using EMR and Eyefinity software.
• Diagnose vision problems and treat eye diseases such as glaucoma within licensure scope.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and discuss contact lens options; collaborate with ophthalmologists.
