Job summary

TransPerfect Connect seeks experienced interpreters to join our remote network as independent contractors (1099) for multiple language pairs. You can log in and take calls on your schedule, with pay based on active interpretation minutes.

Provide consecutive over-the-phone interpretation across healthcare, finance, legal, and education sectors, while maintaining confidentiality and high ethical standards. Requires at least 6 months OPI experience and strong English proficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of professional OPI experience.
• Knowledge of OPI interpreting protocols and formal training.
• Strong English proficiency with clear pronunciation and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional consecutive over-the-phone interpretation between English and the target language.
• Facilitate clear, accurate, and impartial communication across industries.
• Adhere to industry standards, confidentiality protocols, and ethical interpreting practices.
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients and LEP individuals.
