Job summary

The Wisconsin Reading Center (WRC) seeks a collaborative individual to assist in preparing images for ophthalmology reading. The incumbent will be preparing digital ocular scans by converting format in software and running a segmentation software algorithm. Manual correction of segmentation lines in the images.

This position does not involve coding or programming responsibilities. This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong organization.
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and writing skills.
• Experience in a research setting or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Enters information into systems or national database.
• Maintains awareness of and ensures adherence to university standards regarding privacy.
• Prepares and sorts documents for data entry.
• Review and examine the segmentation lines for accuracy and make appropriate corrections for completeness. Optimize images for analysis. Uses proprietary software to view and analyze metadata, images, and documentation.
