BoozmanHof Regional Eye Clinic is seeking a highly motivated Medical Billing Specialist to join our billing team. The role supports accurate submission of insurance claims, eligibility checks, and payer communications, with emphasis on compliance and timely processing.

This part-time position can be remote (Arkansas or North Carolina) or in person in Rogers, AR, with afternoons only. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in medical billing and knowledge of Athena billing systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of medical billing and coding experience.
• Understanding of eligibility, benefits, claim processing, and payer requirements.
• CPB or CPC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and submit claims to insurance companies.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing issues.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local billing regulations.
• Collaborate with providers to improve billing processes.
• Maintain accurate records of billing activities.
• Provide support to the billing team as needed.
