Unidine is seeking a Dietitian for a hybrid role in Oswego, NY, combining on-site and remote work. The position focuses on medical nutrition therapy, policy adherence, and staff mentorship within a long-term care setting.

Qualificações

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board where required.
• One year of hospital experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, EMR diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.

Responsabilidades

• Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population.
• Follows all guidelines outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
• Complies with regulatory standards including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while protecting confidentiality and patient rights (HIPAA).
• Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable.
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide QA/PI programs.

Job Summary

Morningstar is a family-owned and operated, 120-bed long-term and sub-acute skilled nursing facility, located in Oswego, NY. We offer comprehensive care — long-term care, short-term rehab, physical / occupational / speech therapy, post-surgical and orthopedic care, respiratory care, and more — with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, aides, therapists, social workers, and RDs!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population
• Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
• Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required
• One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
