Qualifications

  • Master's degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in instructional design or related field
  • Experience with online and hybrid education
  • Familiarity with LMS (e.g., Coursera) and instructional technologies
  • Ability to design, develop, and evaluate online courses and materials

Responsibilities

  • Consult with faculty and subject matter experts to design, develop, and enhance instructional materials and integrate instructional technologies for online and hybrid courses
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align programs with institutional priorities and standards
  • Evaluate learning needs and outcomes to create effective learning goals and objectives
  • Develop curricula for online and hybrid programs and integrate content and activities with LMS tools and AI-enabled assessment solutions
  • Build and maintain online courses in the LMS, ensuring accessibility and compliance with policies
  • Create instructional content (text, video, multimedia) to support learner engagement
  • Analyze learning data to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Deliver faculty and staff training on online pedagogy and educational technologies
  • Apply QA and continuous improvement to online courses
  • Provide instructional design support throughout course development lifecycle
