Job summary

Savista is a leading revenue cycle management firm seeking a Registry Apprentice to join our CCRS Education and QA team. You will be mentored and trained while expanding your cancer registry skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.

You will receive company-issued equipment, competitive compensation, and paid time off to balance work and volunteering through Savista’s Heart and Soul program. Remote work is available with on-site as needed.

Qualifications

• ODS-certified with registry training.
• ≤6 months’ abstracting experience or >6 months with exposure to ≤4–5 primary sites.
• Passing score on the Registry Apprentice pre-employment assessment.
• Knowledge of standard cancer registry manuals and resources.
• Able to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Experience with email and business software applications.
• Desire to learn in a systematic and collaborative manner.
• Preferred: recent non-abstracting registry work (casefinding/follow-up).
• Preferred: other healthcare license or SEER/CoC experience.
• Remote work experience.

Responsibilities
