Job summary

Guardant Health is seeking an Medical Science Liaison in Oncology to provide scientific leadership and educate community physicians on our diagnostic technologies. You will engage with key opinion leaders, review real-world data, and foster collaborations with clinical teams to advance patient care.

The role emphasizes cross-functional partnership, KOL engagement, and ongoing scientific communication, with substantial travel and remote work options in a dynamic oncology landscape.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise or related experience in Oncology is required.
• Typically requires a university degree and typically 5 years of related experience; 3 years and a Masters degree; or a PhD.
• Experience working with clinicians to build consensus around new products and/or services.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and technical leadership to ensure professional and credible relationships with key community physicians, and KOLs to promote understanding and adoption of our novel diagnostic technologies
• Be a resource for community physicians to evaluate and provide guidance on interpretation of real-world patient test reports
• Facilitate educational growth and understanding through the presentation of scientific content to Medical providers and their staff.
• Identify opportunities for collaboration with KOLs to present at scientific forums such as national and regional specialty society meetings, as well as other strategic industry medical needs.
• Synopsize and educate key staff regarding emerging abstracts and publications relevant to molecular testing
• Extensive travel required up to 3-4 days/overnights per week to meet with KOLs, attend physician education talks and conference
• Demonstrate curiosity, sound judgment, and the ability to leverage AI & Digital Fluency tools in accordance with company policies.
