Job summary

SaidGig is seeking an oncology/hematology clinical reviewer for a remote contract focused on evaluating clinical content used to train healthcare AI systems. You will assess safety/efficacy reasoning and provide clear explanations for non-clinical readers without requiring prior AI experience.

The role emphasizes rigorous clinical reasoning, objective end-point assessment, and careful documentation of conclusions with guideline-based approaches.

Qualifications

• Specialist registration or board certification in medical oncology and/or hematology with 5+ years of post-training clinical experience.
• Direct clinical-trial involvement as investigator, sub-investigator, sponsor-side medical monitor, safety physician, or clinical development physician.
• Expertise in oncology, hematology, trial evaluation, dose-escalation assessment, AE grading, and benefit-risk analysis.
• Proficiency with CTCAE grading and RECIST/Lugano/IMWG/IWCLL/ELN criteria; endpoints like ORR, DoR, PFS, OS, MRD.
• Experience reviewing protocols, CSRs, safety narratives, and DSMB/IDMC materials.
• Strong clinical reasoning and structured written communication for non-clinical readers.

Responsibilities

• Author and review evaluation tasks using CSRs, safety reports, and regulatory correspondence.
• Assess whether efficacy and safety conclusions are clinically defensible, including endpoints and effect sizes.
• Evaluate dose escalation, toxicities, adverse-event grading and attribution, and patient narratives consistency.
• Review benefit-risk reasoning and ensure conclusions stay durable with new events.
• Identify implausible content and distinguish it from legitimate clinical variation.
• Provide guideline-based rationales explaining validity and limitations for non-clinical audiences.
