Job summary

Adjuvant Behavioral Health seeks empathetic mental health professionals for a fully remote role. The position starts as a 1099 contractor, with a transition to W2 after 90 days and 25 hours per week on average.

The therapist will manage referrals, maintain a client load, and develop treatment plans. Requires Virginia LPC license and cross-licensure in Texas prior to starting; oncology-focused behavioral health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active Licensed Professional Counselor license in Virginia is required.
• Cross‑licensure in Texas is required prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients individually and/or in family sessions to help overcome dependencies or life adjustments.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with SMART goals within 72 hours of intake and update every 4 weeks.
• Fill out and maintain client records and progress notes within 48 hours of each session.
• Collaborate with staff to complete clinical assessments and care plans within 2 days of establishing care.
