Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Project Manager II - Oncology to lead global oncology trials on a sponsor-dedicated remote team in the United States. You will oversee study timelines, vendor relationships, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver trials on time and in compliance.

The role requires 3+ years of Clinical Project Management in oncology, experience across multiple regions, and strong knowledge of ICH‑GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, healthcare, or related field is required.
• 3+ years of Clinical Project Management experience supporting global oncology trials.
• Experience managing studies across multiple countries/regions.
• Vendor management experience required.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial operations and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Phase I–IV oncology studies.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical regulations.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability to work effectively within global, cross-functional matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

• Support and partner with Clinical Study Leads on global oncology trials.
• Lead day-to-day study management across startup, conduct, maintenance, and closeout.
• Manage study timelines, deliverables, risks, and issue resolution.
• Oversee external vendors, CROs, labs, imaging, and specialty providers.
• Coordinate Study Team meetings and drive action item follow-up.
• Support study planning, forecasting, and operational strategy execution.
• Monitor study performance metrics and identify intervention needs.
• Ensure inspection readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate across Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, Regulatory, Safety, Supply Chain, Quality.
• Contribute to study status reporting and executive communications.
• Support milestones, enrollment targets, database locks, closeout activities.
• Travel up to 25%.
