Job summary

Syneos Health seeks a Clinical Project Manager II – Oncology for a sponsor‑dedicated remote role in the United States. You will lead global oncology trials, manage timelines, budgets, risks, and vendors, collaborating with cross‑functional teams across regions.

You should have 3+ years in clinical project management, oncology trial experience, and strong knowledge of ICH‑GCP and CTMS/eTMF platforms. This role offers remote US‑based work and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, healthcare, or related field.
• 3+ years of Clinical Project Management experience supporting global oncology trials.
• Experience managing studies across multiple countries/regions.
• Vendor management experience.
• Strong understanding of trial operations and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Phase I–IV oncology studies.
• Familiarity with ICH‑GCP guidelines and regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively within global cross‑functional matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

• Support and partner with Clinical Study Leads and cross‑functional study teams on global oncology trials.
• Lead day‑to‑day study management across startup, conduct, maintenance, and closeout.
• Manage study timelines, deliverables, risks, and issue resolution.
• Oversee external vendors, CROs, labs, imaging, and specialty providers.
• Coordinate Clinical Trial Team meetings and drive action item follow‑up.
• Support study planning, forecasting, and operational strategy execution.
• Monitor study performance metrics and identify interventions.
• Ensure inspection readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate across Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, Medical Monitoring, Regulatory, Safety, Supply Chain, and Quality.
• Contribute to study status reporting and executive communications.
• Support achievement of milestones, enrollment targets, database locks, and closeouts.
