Job summary
Praxis Precision Medicines is seeking a Principal Scientist, Analytical Development to advance oligonucleotide programs and support small molecule projects. This hands-on leadership role partners with Drug Substance, Drug Product, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams to implement scalable analytical control strategies.
Applicants should have a PhD (or equivalent) in Analytical Chemistry with extensive oligonucleotide expertise and a track record in GMP testing, method lifecycle
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Analytical Chemistry or related discipline; 5–7+ years of industry experience.
- Strong experience in analytical development for oligonucleotide drug substances/products.
- Knowledge of US/EU cGMP requirements and quality systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead oligonucleotide analytical development activities and support small molecule programs.
- Oversee method development, qualification, validation, transfer, and GMP testing across teams and partners.
- Manage CRO/CMO analytical networks and ensure high‑quality execution.
- Contribute to regulatory filings and lifecycle management.
- Design phase-appropriate control strategies and stability programs.
