Job summary

Associated Home Care Inc. is hiring an Off Hours Scheduler to ensure client care needs are met promptly with consistent scheduling and caregiver support. The role is remote, with weekend and holiday rotations as needed and responsibilities extending to on‑call coverage.

This per diem position requires a high school diploma and at least one year of scheduling experience in a home care or healthcare setting, plus strong Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook skills and excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of recent experience as an Off Hours Scheduler in a home care or healthcare setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, organized and flexible.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Schedule clients quickly and independently with caregivers to meet needs.
• Provide timely responses to clients and caregivers.
• Process time-off requests via scheduling manager to ensure coverage.
• Email the Home Care Team each morning with on-call updates.
• Update schedules and documentation in the software.
• Communicate schedule changes to clients and caregivers; explain duties.
• Escalate issues appropriately and maintain confidentiality.
• Ensure smooth transition between business hours and on-call.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
