Job summary

Life Signs is seeking a Nutritional Support Coordinator to join our remote team. This full-time, remote role focuses on delivering tailored nutrition plans and collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

You will develop individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and stay current with nutrition research while maintaining accurate records. The position offers hourly compensation between $26.00 and $38.00.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in nutritional support or related healthcare roles.
  • Strong knowledge of dietary guidelines and nutritional principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans for patients
  • Assess and monitor patients' nutritional needs and progress; collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Provide nutritional education and resources to patients and families
  • Stay informed on current research and best practices in nutrition
  • Conduct workshops and seminars to promote nutrition awareness
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to nutritional care
