Job summary

Healthier Generation is a leading nonprofit focused on equitable whole-child health. We seek a senior finance leader to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, audit, and internal controls, supporting programs nationwide.

You will manage a team, collaborate with external auditors, and deliver timely financial insights to guide strategic decisions and ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA certification strongly preferred; Master’s degree helpful.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience in nonprofit environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Lead annual budgeting process and variance analysis.
• Oversee grant budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, cash management, and general ledger.
