Investment Solutions Group is seeking a mid-level Node.js Developer to keep reliability at the forefront of our backend services. This remote role can relocate to Durham, NC or stay remote, with cross-functional collaboration across the team.

You will mentor engineers, identify bottlenecks, and contribute to architecture while growing skills in Webpack and Python tooling. We value a learner's pace, strong listening, and the grit to debug tough issues at 4pm on a Friday.

Qualifications

• Mid-level Node.js development experience required.
• Experience mentoring engineers and code-review culture.
• Proactive problem-solver with architectural sense.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong code-review culture
• Identify bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements proactively
• Pair with cross-functional partners to scope and deliver remote projects
• Design, build, and maintain reliable backend services using Kafka
• Stress-test Interpersonal Skills systems until they bend, then harden where they cracked
• Own data integrity across Investment Solutions Group's Multitasking stores so Durham numbers never lie
