Software Placement Group seeks a Remote Nighthawk Diagnostic Radiologist to support after-hours imaging needs. This long-term, fully remote role offers evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday coverage with productivity-based compensation and no onsite shifts.

You will interpret CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound studies for ED and inpatient cases, serving as reader or backup during assigned periods, while meeting HIPAA and security requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide final interpretations of CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound studies for ED and inpatient cases
• Serve as reader or backup during coverage periods
• Cover 4 PM–8 AM evening/overnight window; weekend daytime coverage 8 AM–4 PM
• Participate in holiday coverage and handoffs as scheduled

Overview

A hospital facility is seeking a Remote Nighthawk Diagnostic Radiologist to join a coverage team supporting evening, overnight, early morning, weekend, and holiday diagnostic imaging needs. This is a long-term, fully remote opportunity for a physician to provide timely, high-quality interpretations for Emergency Department, inpatient, and other hospital studies during off-hours.

What you'll do

• Provide final interpretations of CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound studies for Emergency Department, inpatient, and other assigned hospital cases
• Serve as a named reader or credentialed backup during assigned coverage periods
• Cover a proposed evening and overnight window of 4 PM-8 AM daily, which may be divided among physicians with defined handoffs (not a requirement to work a continuous 16-hour shift)
• Participate in separate weekend daytime coverage from 8 AM-4 PM, with holiday coverage to be finalized
• Consider flexible recurring assignments or block arrangements, including seven nights on / seven nights off for an agreed overnight segment
• Communicate critical, urgent, and unexpected findings promptly and document per hospital policy
• Meet hospital turnaround and communication requirements for any additional facility reading, subject to agreed arrangements

• Ability to use Novarad PACS and Dragon Medical dictation systems
• Remote access compliant with hospital security, privacy, and HIPAA requirements

Compensation and benefits

• Daytime (8 AM-5 PM): $50 per wRVU
• Evening (5 PM-10 PM): $65 per wRVU
• Overnight (10 PM-5 AM): $70 per wRVU
• Early morning (5 AM-8 AM): $60 per wRVU
• Weekday remote coverage hour from 4 PM-5 PM paid at the daytime rate
• Compensation is based on actual wRVU productivity with no compensation cap
• No guaranteed shift or daily payment unless otherwise agreed in writing; read counts are not equivalent to wRVUs
• Malpractice and tail coverage provided or paid, $1 million per claim / $3 million aggregate
• No commute or onsite overnight services required; no breast imaging or mammography; no onsite procedures or IR coverage
• Workstation requirements coordinated during onboarding, with hospital technical support provided
