Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation seeks a Remote Lead Janitor to supervise and coordinate cleaning services across remote camp facilities. You will direct staff, train personnel, manage inventories, and ensure safety and quality in all housekeeping duties.

The role requires standing for long shifts, English proficiency, and ability to work remotely in rugged environments while upholding our safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience with commercial cleaning equipment and processes.
• At least 1 year of commercial housekeeping experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a related field.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for past 3 years.
• Must pass pre-employment tests (drug, physical, fit-for-duty, hearing).
• Able to work in a team and make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Able to stand for 12 hours per shift and live in dormitory-style housing.
• Contract requires English language proficiency.
• Must meet safety guidelines for company and client.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of a janitor or assigned staff.
• Direct and train housekeeping staff.
• Promote NMS Core Values in the workplace.
• Inspect and replace inventories; ensure service quality.
• Coordinate equipment care and maintenance.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Resolve minor maintenance or client emergencies.
• Assist staff with work-related issues.
