Job summary

OpenEd is seeking part-time teachers to support students and families through personalized online learning. This non-traditional teaching role emphasizes mentorship, flexibility, and individualized support rather than a fixed classroom.

Ideal candidates hold Nevada teaching certification, can work 25-27 hours weekly, with core hours 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. MT. Compensation starts at $25/hour, with benefits including dental, vision, retirement and a monthly tech subsidy.

Qualifications

• Current Nevada teaching certification and eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to support individualized learning for diverse students.
• Organized, patient, dependable and capable of meeting deadlines.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and online teaching tools.
• Able to learn new online tools and systems independently.
