Job summary
A leading medical services provider is expanding its physician panel and is seeking board-certified Neurosurgeons for a fully remote opportunity in medical record reviews. This role allows you to work flexibly, accepting or declining cases based on your availability. Responsibilities include reviewing medical records, providing expert opinions, and delivering written reports without face-to-face interaction. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills and communication abilities, and a background in medical record reviews is preferred.
Qualifications
Board certification in Neurosurgery required.
Prior experience with medical record reviews, IMEs, or peer reviews preferred.
Strong analytical skills and excellent written communication abilities.
Responsibilities
Thorough review and analysis of prepared medical records.
Provide expert, advisory-only opinions regarding the claimant's current condition.
Respond to clinical questions to support claims management.
Deliver clear, well-supported written reports within an expected turnaround time of 5 days.
No face-to-face interaction with claimants.
