Job summary

SimonMed is seeking a Remote Radiologist to interpret diagnostic imaging studies from a remote setting using teleradiology technology. This role supports nationwide imaging needs with timely and accurate reporting, contributing to high-quality patient care without onsite presence.

You will review X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other modalities, deliver prompt reports to clinicians, and communicate time-sensitive findings through secure channels while adhering to HIPAA and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an Accredited Radiology Residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent).
• Active and unrestricted medical licenses in applicable practice states (multi-state licensure preferred).
• Prior teleradiology or remote work experience preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency in remote diagnostic tools, PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills in a virtual work environment.
• Strong written communication for clear and concise report generation.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and teleradiology-specific data privacy protocols.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Interpret a high volume of diagnostic studies remotely.
• Deliver prompt, accurate reports to referring clinicians across locations.
• Communicate time-sensitive findings via phone or secure messaging.
• Collaborate with technologists and staff virtually to ensure protocol adherence.
• Use PACS, RIS, and cloud-based teleradiology systems to manage cases.
• Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and virtual team meetings.
• Maintain licensure and compliance documentation across states.
• Adhere to HIPAA and data security standards in a remote setting.
• Support a consistent remote workflow with no weekend/evening shifts.
• Foster collaboration across geographically distributed teams.
