Job summary

Allbridge is seeking a Network Engineer to deploy and support networking and Wi‑Fi for Hospitality clients. You will diagnose issues, document systems, and work independently or with a team to meet schedules with a focus on excellent customer service.

Required five years in network/Wi‑Fi installations, familiarity with HP, Aruba, Ruckus, Meraki and analysis tools; strong communication in English and the ability to work on an on‑call rotation.

Job Summary

The Network Engineer is responsible for the successful deployment of best of breed networking and Wi-Fi equipment for Hospitality clients. Must be effective at providing excellent customer service, and working independently to perform timely and quality installation, integration, support, and administration of enterprise level data networks and systems.Must have extremely strong problem-solving skills, be flexible and able to multi-task and handle changing priorities, with self-motivation to drive solutions to completion.

Successful employees have a minimum of 5+ years of experience working independently or as a team lead to perform network/Wi-Fi installations, network diagnostics, monitoring, and using analysis tools (e.g., Ekahau, Wireshark network tools). Must be familiar with HP, Aruba, Ruckus Networks, Meraki wireless enterprise level products delivering technical network and Wi-Fi services to commercial customers.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve enterprise level network and product performance issues,maintaininga high levelof customer satisfaction.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to effectively deploy, install, configure, and test best of breed HSIA and network equipment.
  • Perform effective troubleshooting of LAN/WAN and digital switching technologies, software, hardware and servers, routers, modems, wireless, TCP/IP and QoS.
  • Perform high quality, meticulous, andtimelynetwork system documentation.
  • Interact with various inter and intra departmental peer groups to cooperatively achieve best results in all assigned tasks.
  • Execute assigned tasks within assignedtimeframesand budgets.
  • May work with and take direction from project managers to ensurecompletionas necessary.
  • Responsible for day-to-day support within the network / wi-fiengineerfunction taking ownership of job performance, seeking direction to improve, applying feedback, aligning with others, and working as a team player to deliver an exceptional customer experience at every interaction. Develops andmaintainsexcellent working relationships with internal teams, striving to enhance the level ofmutual cooperation.
  • Conforms to the highest professional standards, escalating recommendations in support of scalable business needs,remainingcurious with an aptitude to research, implement, and adapt to innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications
  • Required to have a Minimum of 5+ years of experience working independently or as a team lead to performnetwork/Wi-Fi installations, network diagnostics, monitoring, and using analysis tools (e.g.,Ekahau, Wireshark network tools)
  • 2+ years of experience inHP, FortiGate, Firewalls, Aruba, Ruckus Networks, Meraki wireless enterprise level products delivering technical network and Wi-Fi services to commercial customers.
  • Meraki certification preferred. If no certification, must be willing to complete within the first 60 days of employment.
  • Required to have five years of configuring Aruba and Ruckus hardware within the hospitality space.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently without day-to-day supervision.
  • Proficient with problem-solving in complex data network systems.
  • Must be able to work on an on-call rotation to support the 24x7x365 team.
  • Must be able to work effectively as a team member in a fast paced , and high-volume work environment,operatingwith a high levelof detail and conscientiousness. Uses new information or approaches to overcome major resistance or objections.
  • Demonstrates technical and/or professionalproficiencyin anetwork/wi-fi engineering positionproactively adjusting for difficulties, and completingobjectivesefficiently, andidentifiesand takes advantage of opportunitiesof efficiency.
  • Mustpossessexcellent written and verbal communication skills, both technically and interpersonally in the English language. Exhibits openness to receiving and responding to constructive feedback.
  • Clearly communicates timelines and expectations to team members, making decisionsin a timely mannerwhen the options are clear and there is little pressure or risk.
  • Demonstrated aptitude to become proficient in and to meet and / or exceed job expectationsoperatingwith a willingness to learn and gainproficiency.
  • Proven ability to understand and apply company resourcesin accordance withcompany policy, standards, and best practices.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability tooperatewith a high sense of urgency, professionalism, integrity, collaboration, and ethics.

  • Demonstrated intermediate level PC skills with the ability to effectivelyoperatewithin a Windows Operating System and Windows based programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and Project.
