Job summary

Oscar is hiring an Associate for the Network Contracting & Services team. The role manages contracts with hospitals and provider groups to build a robust network in the assigned market, ensuring access to quality care while optimizing costs.

You will participate in strategy execution and conduct provider negotiations. The position is remote and based in Texas, with frequent local travel for client meetings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in healthcare client management or provider contracting.
• 2+ years supporting provider network strategy and negotiating contracts.
• 1+ year analyzing financial data across markets.
• 1+ year handling large data sets (claims, rosters).

Responsibilities

• Execute contracting strategies under direction to align with network objectives.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with healthcare providers.
• Review provider contracts to identify optimization opportunities.
• Use data analytics to inform negotiation and contracting decisions.
• Meet defined metrics and SLAs for provider outreach and contract completion.
• Collaborate with provider services on servicing and communication to the network.
• Monitor networks for compliance and remediate deficiencies with leadership.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
