Job summary

EDB in Madison, WI is hiring a NetSuite Developer cum Administrator with 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience. You will own, extend and automate the NetSuite environment, focusing on SuiteScript customizations, integrations, and AI-enabled features that reduce manual work across Finance, Sales, Operations and Support.

The role is ~60% development/integration and 40% administration, with a strong emphasis on AI-driven automation and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of NetSuite experience in a combined administrator and developer capacity.
• Strong SuiteScript 2.x debugging and governance management.
• Proven experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteQL, saved searches and SDF deployments.
• Experience building and supporting integrations using REST/SOAP web services, RESTlets, JSON and OAuth 2.0.
• Solid understanding of NetSuite financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Revenue Recognition, Inventory, Procurement).
• AI skills (mandatory): applying generative AI or ML to business systems, prompt engineering, and API usage.
• Working knowledge of Git and sandbox-to-production release processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and deploy SuiteScript 2.x solutions (User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, RESTlet, Workflow).
• Build and maintain SuiteFlow workflows, custom records, forms, fields and saved searches.
• Develop SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST) and RESTlet integrations between NetSuite and other data platforms.
• Write clean, documented, version-controlled code and follow SDF deployment practices.
• Identify and deliver AI use cases in NetSuite (invoice/data extraction, classification, forecasting).
• Integrate LLM APIs and NetSuite's N/llm module into scripts/workflows with guardrails.
• Use AI coding assistants to speed up development, code review and test creation.
• Evaluate AI features/tools for fit, cost, security and data privacy.
• Gather requirements from Finance/Sales/Ops, translate to designs.
• Provide tier-3 support, user training and documentation; mentor juniors.
• Contribute to NetSuite roadmap planning.
