Job summary

Alliance Health is seeking an NCQA Quality & Accreditation Specialist to serve as the project management lead and subject matter expert for NCQA standard areas. The role oversees assessment of business functions to support high-quality performance and the accreditation process.

The position is full-time remote with occasional reporting to the Alliance Home Office in Morrisville, NC for meetings. Responsibilities include managing accreditation reviews, policy/document updates, and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Human Services, Public Health Administration, Nursing, Business, or related field and three (3) years of project management experience in a managed care or healthcare setting with knowledge of NCQA Health Plan accreditation processes and requirements.
  • Experience with NCQA Accreditation standards preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to health plan accreditation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management for NCQA standard categories within the organization’s QI workplan to achieve/maintain Health Plan Accreditation with LTSS distinction and other accreditations.
  • Identify gaps/risks and provide regular status reports from NCQA tracker to leadership.
  • Lead NCQA Accreditation reviews by gathering documents, coordinating submissions, and managing onsite reviews.
  • Review/update policies for NCQA compliance and maintain documentation calendars.
  • Participate in Delegation Oversight and audits as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to support quality performance and readiness.
