Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Music Audio Expert to evaluate AI-generated lyrics and voice outputs, score musical training data, and write music in Spanish MX.

This remote contract role requires 3+ years as a music producer or audio engineer, native Spanish MX and English, and the ability to work independently, asynchronously, and meet deadlines.

Immediate start, up to 6 months, 10+ hours per week at $17/hour.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as music producer, audio engineer, or sound mixer.
• Evidence of understanding musical performance, theory, and lyrics.
• College degree in music covering performance, theory, and lyrics.
• Experience writing lyrical music in the title language (Spanish MX).
• Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish (MX) and English.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model output lyrics, voice generation, and other standards.
• Score the quality of musical training data.
• Write music in the domain language listed in the title.
• Understand directions in the English language.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
