Job summary

OpenTrain AI, Inc. is seeking a remote, part-time Music QA reviewer to help improve AI systems that process and understand music. You will review lyrics, assess song structure, classify sections, and evaluate AI-generated responses, working asynchronously with high attention to detail.

The role requires a strong background in music theory and experience as a professional musician. Flexible hours and an expected 20+ hours per week are offered, with compensation up to $50 per hour for US-based

Qualifications

• Current bachelor's student or graduate in Music, Music Theory, Music Composition, or a related field.
• Professional work as a performing, recording, or touring musician.
• Strong ear for pitch, harmony, vocal layering, and arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Verify and correct lyrics for wording, phrasing, and song structure.
• Classify lyric excerpts as verse, chorus, or bridge.
• Listen to tracks, count the singers, and identify the gender of each vocalist.
• Use knowledge of pitch, harmony, vocal layering, and arrangement to make accurate judgments.
• Write music-focused prompts and rate AI-generated responses for quality and relevance.
• Work independently in a remote, asynchronous setting with close attention to detail.
