Qualified candidates will have at least three years in Medicare Risk Adjustment coding, a coding certification, and proficiency with MS Office; experience with Epic/Allscripts is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of Medicare Risk Adjustment coding in a medical group or health plan setting.
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Experience with coding audits and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Supports QA audits of the internal Coding Analyst Team to validate coding accuracy (95% HCC).
• Tracks QA audits on coding vendors for CMS submissions.
• Works with Risk Adjustment on data validation and chart reviews.
• Analyzes audit results to support training and process improvement.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and ongoing CEUs for coding certifications.
