Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring a Manheim Mobile Inspector to perform on-site and remote vehicle inspections across the assigned territory. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to inspection standards, and building strong dealer relationships to drive inspection volume.

Multiple levels are available (Level 1, Level 2, Senior), with progressive responsibilities and incentives. A pre-employment drug test is required and benefits include PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic automotive knowledge preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic to advanced vehicle inspections per Manheim standards.
• Document vehicle condition, VINs, mileage and options accurately.
• Inspect exterior and interior conditions and basic mechanical systems.
• Engage with dealer clients to grow inspection participation and trust.
• Prepare daily activity and production reports; use Salesforce for tracking.
