Job summary

Canonical is hiring an MLOps Field Engineer to help global enterprises adopt AI/ML on public and private clouds, Linux, and Kubernetes. You will architect ML solutions and deploy them for customers, often working remotely.

You will collaborate with sales and product teams, deliver demonstrations, and travel up to 30% as needed. A technical degree and strong Python, Kubernetes, and Linux skills are expected; experience with Kubeflow, MLFlow, and DVC is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong academic track record in STEM fields
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical background
• Experience in data engineering, MLOps, or big data deployments
• Proficiency in Python, R, or Rust and cloud concepts

Responsibilities

• Design ML architectures for external customers.
• Deploy, test, and hand over ML solutions to support teams.
