Job summary

Paylocity is a leading provider of cloud-based HR and payroll software solutions, offering a comprehensive platform to automate HR and payroll processes and enhance workforce management. This remote role focuses on operationalizing machine learning and AI solutions across Paylocity’s ecosystem, partnering with Data Scientists, Product & Technology teams, and DevOps to deploy, monitor, and scale pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in ML/DS/engineering roles, strong Python and cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, machine learning engineering, statistics, mathematics, data science or similar.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in ML engineering, MLOps, cloud engineering, data engineering, or related roles.
• Experience building production-grade data or ML workflows in Python.
• Strong background with cloud data technologies (AWS and Databricks, Spark) and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Convert ML models, prototypes, and AI solutions into scalable production workflows with Operations Data Science.
• Design and maintain automated data and model pipelines using Python, AWS, Databricks, Spark, and CI/CD.
• Develop reusable deployment patterns, templates, and standards for production readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align ML solutions with enterprise architecture and security.
