Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an ML Security Engineer to lead security controls for AI/ML systems, including threat modeling, incident response, and policy enforcement across model endpoints.

You will design defenses for AI-powered apps and the AI infrastructure, with strong emphasis on prompt injection defenses, data provenance, and access controls. The role is fully remote in the United States and suits experts in AI security engineering.

Qualifications

• Six-plus years of security engineering experience, including AI/ML systems.
• Hands-on experience designing security controls for AI-powered applications.
• Strong understanding of LLM internals and modern AI architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one systems language.
• Cloud security knowledge and modern infrastructure controls.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement security controls targeting LLM/AI risks.
• Build threat models for AI systems including prompt injection and data exfiltration.
• Design and deploy guardrails, content filters, and policy enforcement around model endpoints.
• Implement runtime detection and response for adversarial prompts and abuse.
• Secure training/fine-tuning pipelines with data provenance and access controls.
• Lead red-team exercises against AI systems and remediate weaknesses.
• Evaluate and harden third-party AI services and open-source AI components.
• Implement identity, authorization, and tenant isolation for multi-tenant AI services.
• Drive supply chain security for ML artifacts including weights and datasets.
• Collaborate with privacy, legal, and compliance teams for regulatory obligations.
• Develop monitoring, logging, and detection strategies for AI workloads.
• Lead incident response for AI-specific security events.
