Job summary

OpenTrain AI, Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning Researcher and Task Reviewer for a fully remote, part-time contractor position. You will create, solve, review, and validate ML tasks involving Python, models, numerical computing, and system performance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

The role focuses on developing training and inference pipelines, optimizing performance, and building reproducible workflows. English fluency and an advanced degree are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree or PhD in computer science, machine learning, AI, applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline.
• Experience: Mid-Senior level with strong ML and Python coding proficiency.
• Experience: Coding-intensive ML, systems, and numerical computing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create, solve, review, and validate ML engineering tasks against defined correctness and performance requirements.
• Build reproducible workflows and investigate numerical or system-level failures.
• Improve memory usage or throughput and ensure implementations meet objective requirements.
• Review coding-intensive ML, systems, and numerical-computing solutions.
