Job summary

FloVision is a remote-first startup delivering computer vision-powered production processes for the food supply chain. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize CV models across multiple projects, collaborating with ML, software, hardware, product, and data-annotation teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.
• Three+ years of ML/DS lifecycle work with focus on CV.
• Experience applying semantic segmentation in production.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL pipelines for ML data.
• Clean datasets and perform feature engineering for model development.
• Annotate and review image data across ML workflow (core responsibility).
• Use Python, SQL, and statistics to extract insights.
• Train, fine-tune, evaluate, and deploy CV models.
• Own ML outcomes end-to-end from data to product impact.
• Collaborate with annotation team to improve data quality.
