This remote position requires 3+ years of US DoD or military writing experience and proficiency with WARs, SITREPs, and AARs. Strong communication skills are essential for collaboration with subject-matter experts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of US DoD/military reporting or staff writing experience.
• Experience creating WARs, SITREPs, AARs, or similar reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of DoD procedures, federal documentation standards, and compliance.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and official military documentation.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work remotely in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create military and federal reports, summaries, and executive updates.
• Develop high-quality reference responses for AI training.
• Create grading rubrics based on military and federal standards.
• Review AI-generated reports for accuracy, tone, and compliance.
• Work with WARs, SITREPs, AARs, briefs, and memoranda.
• Provide feedback on reporting quality and collaborate with SMEs.
