Job summary

Fisher College invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor - EC102 Microeconomics to join our faculty for an 8-week online course running October 26, 2026 to December 18, 2026. The position is part-time and remote, open to qualified candidates with graduate degrees.

The instructor will plan, develop, and teach the course, develop weekly materials, assess student work, facilitate two Teams meetings, and engage in discussion boards while aligning with the college's objectives and inclusive

Qualifications

Master's in business or economics preferred.
Undergraduate business degree with education-related Masters acceptable with experience.
1+ year teaching or 2 years corporate training.
2+ years managerial level business experience.
Experience with Canvas is preferred.
Experience with MS Teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and teach this course to support the achievement of course learning objectives.
Develop the weekly course materials, in advance of the term start, following the guidelines set forth by the college and in coordination with Instructional Design Specialist.
Assess and evaluate submitted work, and provide feedback to students in a timely manner.
Facilitate two virtual class meetings using Microsoft Teams.
Develop, require, and participate in graded discussion boards with the class.
Participate in adjunct faculty training and orientation.
