About the Program

This is a mentorship-first internship, not a coffee-run internship. As a small, founder-led studio, we do not have the budget to pay interns right now, but we do have real client work, a working Studio Manager, and a genuine commitment to teaching. You will get direct 1:1 feedback on actual deliverables that go out to real local small business clients — not simulated busywork.

The Role

We are looking for current students (or very recent grads) in graphic design, UI/UX, marketing, or a related field who want structured mentorship and a portfolio-ready body of work. You will shadow and assist on live client projects under direct supervision.

What You\'ll Do:

• Shadow Real Client Work: Sit in on discovery calls and design reviews for 1–2 active client accounts per semester.
• Complete Guided Assignments: Work through a structured curriculum of small design/marketing tasks with feedback from the Studio Manager within 3 business days.
• Build a Portfolio Piece: Finish the semester with at least one complete, presentable case study you can use in your own portfolio.
• Join Biweekly Mentorship Check-ins: 30-minute 1:1 call every other week to review progress and set goals.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a design, UX, marketing, or related program.
• Basic familiarity with Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Cloud — you dont need to be advanced, just willing to learn.
• Reliable availability of 5–10 hrs/week for the semester.
• Comfort working in a small, bilingual, founder-led studio environment.

Compensation

This is an unpaid position. In exchange, you receive direct mentorship, a completed portfolio case study, a LinkedIn recommendation on successful completion, and academic credit if your school's program supports it (we're happy to sign any required paperwork).
