Job summary

Next Level Mental Health Counseling PLLC is seeking a Mental Health Counseling Therapist to provide counseling and therapy to a diverse client population. The role offers remote work, collaboration with licensed professionals, and mentorship from PhD-Level licensed therapists with diagnostic privilege and sex therapists.

You will conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and support clients through therapy and referrals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• FOR LMHCs/LCSWs – valid and active licensure in New York State.
• FOR MHC-LPs/LMSWs - eligible for a New York State Limited Permit or Provisional License.
• Knowledge of psychology, therapy, and counseling; adherence to ethical and legal standards (HIPAA).
• Ability to manage a therapeutic framework prioritizing client needs; confidentiality and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Balance a clinical caseload while prioritizing administrative tasks.
• Provide services to individuals, couples, families, and/or groups.
• Engage in psychotherapy using culturally sensitive, strengths-based approaches.
• Assess diagnoses, treatment plans, and therapy goals.
• Maintain client files and documentation per state and federal standards.
• Coordinate intake, discharge planning, referrals, and aftercare referrals.
• Participate in weekly group supervision and bi-weekly individual supervision.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and advocacy.
• Develop and execute a marketing and branding strategy to grow caseload.
