Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Research Coverage Analyst to support clinical research programs by developing Medicare Coverage Analyses for all trial protocols with billable services. You will report to the Coverage Analysis Manager and collaborate with CTMS, Budget, and Billing Adjudication teams to ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least two years of Coverage Analysis work focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field or 4 years additional related experience
• 2 years direct experience in Coverage Analysis development and interpretation of Medicare requirements for research
• 4 years experience in research, billing, or healthcare administration

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive Medicare Coverage Analysis for all clinical trial protocols including billable services.
• Collaborate with CTMS, Budget, and Billing Adjudication teams to ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies.
• Align Coverage Analysis with Medicare Clinical Trial Policy, national medical guidelines, local practice guidelines, peer-reviewed publications, and coverage determinations.
• Uphold confidentiality, attendance and punctuality.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field

2 years direct experience in Coverage Analysis development and interpretation of Medicare requirements for research
