Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an Internal Medical Translator to join our remote/global Translation Services team. The role focuses on linguistically and culturally accurate translations of life sciences content while maintaining tone and structure.

You will work with internal teams, contribute to linguistic assets, and ensure high-quality translations that support improved healthcare outcomes worldwide. The ideal candidate is a native speaker with strong English writing skills, 3+ years in life sciences

Qualifications

Native speaker with fluency in source languages and excellent writing skills.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Experience translating life sciences content preferred.
Degree in translation/linguistics or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Translate complex medical and clinical content accurately and on time.
Follow client instructions and reference materials with precision.
Research and apply industry-specific terminology.
Use glossaries, CAT tools, and translation memories to ensure consistency.
Proofread and edit for grammar, terminology, and style.
Collaborate with IQVIA Translations Services to improve internal linguistic assets.
Provide feedback on translation quality and manage delivery timelines.
Act as a strategic partner in meeting client expectations.
